The Force Awakens-inspired line features designs by the winners of last year's Her Universe 'Geek Couture' Fashion Show held at Comic-Con International in San Diego where finalists Leetal Platt and Kelly Cercone wowed the audience with their original, handmade creations on the runway and took top honors at the event. As part of the grand prize, Platt and Cercone were rewarded the exciting professional opportunity to design an exclusive Star Wars fashion collection with Her Universe founder, Ashley Eckstein, for Hot Topic. To celebrate the hit film, The Force Awakens, and this brand new collection, Her Universe and Hot Topic have gone all out to create dynamic, stylish, high-quality fashions to awaken any fangirl's geeky wardrobe.

On Friday, October 16, The Chernuchin Theatre, one of the theatres housed at The American Theatre for Actors (ATA, 314 West 54th Street, New York City) was named for beloved Broadway legend and two-time Tony Award winner John Cullum. He is best known as Holling, the bartender in 'Northern Exposure.'
John Cullum attended opening night of Fracture Theatre Company's production of URINETOWN, the show for which he originated the role of Caldwell B. Cladwell, then had the theater named after him in ceremonies following the performance. Also in attendance were the show's composer, Mark Hollmann, book writer Greg Kotis ( they collaborated on the lyrics) and Jennifer Laura Thompson, the original Hope Cladwell. Cast gathered on stage as Cullum was presented with a plaque. The two-time Tony-Award winner ( SHENANDOAH, ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY) saiid watching the show had transported him right back to Urinetown and that of all the theaters he has performed in, this theater, where the show got its start, would be his choice to bear his name.

What does an airheaded, "good" girl from Beaverton Jesuit High School do when she wants to be a Dallas Cowgirl professional football team cheerleader, and she gets accepted, but doesn't have the money to get from Oklahoma to the big city? She and her cheerleading friends, of course, turn to prostitution. That, at least is the premise of the classic porn flick DEBBIE DOES DALLAS, as well as the musical based on that flick. The latter is now on stage at Blank Canvas.
