With all due respect to William Shakespeare and Noel Coward, Broadway's never had a ghost story that mixes terror, wit and theatrical thrills quite like Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's Follies, now receiving an Encores! concert staging so loaded with achingly good moments they could loan a few of them out to some of Broadway's current tenants without losing a bit of its sheen.
New York City Center's Encores! 2007 Season pays tribute to the 100th Anniversary of the first Ziegfeld Follies, kicking off the celebration with Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's legendary 1971 multiple Tony Award-winner, Follies, directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw, with music direction by Eric Stern. Follies will play for six performances, from February 8 - 12 at New York City Center, 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.

Monty Python's Spamalot celebrated its first anniversary on Broadway with a rather unusual celebration. Following the matinee performance on Wednesday, March 22, cast members gathered along with audience members, and passerbys to go for the Guinness World Record for the 'World's Largest Coconut Orchestra.'
