Rabbit Hole Theatricks is about to premiere their fifth new children's musical called Superbunny Meets the Mummy, the fourth installment in the Superbunny catalog, while at the same time Rob Martin Productions of New Zealand is currently in rehearsal and preparing an international tour of both New Zealand and Australia of Rabbit Hole's second children's musical, A Cow Named Cow.

Superbunny Meets the Mummy, a new musical based on the next installment of the award winning children's book series Thumperino Superbunny by Amber L. Spradlin, is coming to the Actors Fund Arts Center on October 29th at 2:30 pm and October 30th at 10:30 am , FREE admission.

Coal Mine Theatre presents the Toronto premiere of the edgy and electric INSTRUCTIONS (TO ANY FUTURE SOCIALIST GOVERNMENT WISHING TO ABOLISH CHRISTMAS) from May 29 - June 19. Last Monday, October 27, the Midtown International Theater Festival presented the awards for its 15th anniversary season. Meshelle, 'The Indie-Mom of Comedy,' hosted this New York independent theatre tradition which celebrates the outstanding work of the festivals and productions found in the Midtown International Theatre Festival, Midwinter Madness Fest, Commercial Division, Children's Theatre Program, Cabaret Showcase, Staged Reading Series, and the Short Play Lab. The 2014 Midtown International Theater Festival culminates its 15th anniversary celebration with the MITF Awards recognizing the best of this summer's MITF and the February 2014 Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival.

This month, as a part of the 15th Anniversary Season of the Midtown International Theatre Festival, Michael Mack will perform the NY premiere of his acclaimed solo show Conversations with My Molester: A Journey of Faith, which will run thru Saturday, August 2 at the Jewel Box Theater (312 West 36th St, 4th Floor). Spanning four decades after his childhood experience of clergy sexual abuse, Mack's award-winning solo play is his spiritual autobiography charting the crime, the wreckage, and his astonishing, redemptive return to the Catholic Church.

Pressure is a new play by David Haig, who also features in the cast as Dr James Stagg. Pressure tells the little-known but true story of Dr James Stagg, a Scottish meteorologist summoned to the Allied Headquarters in Portsmouth to advise General Eisenhower. It will be staged less than 20 miles away at Chichester during the 70th anniversary month of the D-Day landings.

Year 2014 marks Year 15 for the MITF and John Chatterton is celebrating in a big way. Prolific producer John Chatterton has been a fixture of the Manhattan theatre scene for two decades. For much of that time, his brainchild, The Midtown International Theatre Festival, has been celebrating the diversity of theatre becoming a leader in presenting powerful works from around the world - and one of the best reasons to come to New York in the summer. The once bachelor MITF now has a full family of arts programs: The Short Play Lab, which will be part of this year's festivities; Cabaret MITF - featuring Broadway and cabaret performers - also be part of this summer's festivities; and the Commercial Division spotlighting works whose production values and subject matter are the stuff for Off- [and on] Broadway; and, of course, the founding Midtown International Theatre Festival. The Midwinter Madness Short Play Festival and the MITF Children's Theatre Festival shared in the fun earlier this year.
