2011 Festival of New American Musicals Held 4/1-8/28

The 2011 Festival of New American Musicals, a five-month musical theatre festival, will be held April 1 through August 28, 2011, throughout Southern California. Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett are the Executive Producers of the annual festival, now in its fourth year. This year's Festival includes 16 world premieres, and an additional 10 west coast premieres.

Chance Theater presents the World Premiere production of the quirky award-winning musical, The Boy in the Bathroom, April 23 - May 22, 2011. The play is directed by Chance Theater Artistic Director Oanh Nguyen. The production is a proud participant in both the 4th Annual Festival of New American Musicals and Arts Orange County's Imagination Celebration.

New York Theatre Barn in the D-Lounge, now in its 4th year, is a monthly event that was created May of 2007 in the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The series transferred to The Duplex in the West Village in January of 2008 and returned to the D-Lounge in January of 2010.
