Joel Grey will direct an all-star cast in an historic, 25th anniversary staged reading of Larry Kramer's seminal drama, The Normal Heart, on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street), producer Daryl Roth announced today.
MTV.com reports that Mark Ruffalo ('The Kids Are All Right,' AWAKE AND SING!) has signed on to play 'Ned Weeks' in Larry Kramer's film adaptation of his play THE NORMAL HEART. 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy is reported to be involved, though it is unclear whether he is producing or directing. A production schedule and release date have not yet been announced.

Two pairs of disaffected brothers are at the heart of As You Like It, inspiring director Ellen Geer to reset William Shakespeare's witty adventure in the divided South of the post-Civil War era. Rosalind and Orlando's celebrated courtship is played out against a backdrop of political rivalry, banishment and exile, opening The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum's 2008 Summer Season on Sunday, June 1. Performances continue every Sunday afternoon at 3 pm through September 28 in the Theatricum's 299-seat outdoor amphitheater carved into the Topanga Canyon hillside.
