Lynn University and Producer Jan McArt, director of theatre arts program development, are announcing the upcoming series of Jan McArt's New Play Readings.

The Theatre League's Summer Theatre Fest has become an integral part of South Florida's cultural landscape, and in its fifth year South Florida audiences will once again have the opportunity to see theatre for free, and check out new plays in development by South Florida playwrights. 

These are the plays that comprise the 2017-18 'Jan McArt's New Play Readings' series, to be presented at Boca Raton's Lynn University beginning Monday, October 30th.

Florida Repertory Theatre's 2017 PlayLab Festival of new plays and emerging voices plays in the Historic Arcade and ArtStage Studio Theatres April 27-30. The 2017 Festival features six new play readings, a keynote address and playwrights' panel, and two premieres of plays that were read as part of last year's PlayLab.

There's a playwright missing in action this week at Boca Raton's Lynn University where, on Monday, 'Jan McArt's New Play Readings' series will present a staged reading of Michael McKeever's latest work, 'THE CAMP.'
