Chichester's Festival 2012 continues with two productions by Alan Ayckbourn, one of Britain's most popular and acclaimed playwrights. Surprises is a brand new play, presented alongside his award- winning classic comedy Absurd Person Singular. These two plays are co-productions with Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough, and feature one company of actors. Artistic Director Bonnie Metzgar and Executive Director Jason Held present the world premiere of WHAT'S THE T? by Sara Kerastas and the About Face Youth Theatre Ensemble, directed by Eric Hoff. The press opening is tonight, July 20th at 7:30pm at the Red Tape Theatre (621 West Belmont Ave, 2nd fl).

Book of Mormon cast members Nic Rouleau, Will Blum, and Jason Michael Snow are set to perform on Monday, July 16 in MORMONS: A Musical Cabaret of Godly Proportions, a special benefit cabaret at Triad NYC. They will be joined by a host of Broadway performers singing musical theater songs for 'saints and sinners alike'. All proceeds will benefit the 2012 FringeNYC production of #MormonInChief, a new play by Matthew Greene.

Chichester Festival Theatre celebrates its 50th birthday with an anniversary season that echoes and acknowledges the past while also looking to the future. Uncle Vanya was part of Chichester's very first season in 1962 and became a key part of its history and is revisited during Festival 2012. The Way of the World in 1984 has also become an emblematic production; the play will feature again this year.

Singer and actress Christina Milian will guest star on an episode of A GIFTED MAN titled 'In Case of Co-Dependents,' to be broadcast in February. Christina will play Shawnee Baker, a successful pop star suffering from unusual symptoms. This episode will be directed by recurring guest star Eriq La Salle (E-Mo Morris).
