Misguided attempt at film noir style misses the target

The CW presents its 2017-18 primetime schedule to advertisers, affiliates, and national media today at the New York City Center in New York City, with the multi-platinum, multi-Grammy Award-winning rock band Muse opening the show with the worldwide debut performance of their new single, "Dig Down."

Michael Foster takes the cabaret spotlight at The Winter Park Playhouse to premiere his latest solo cabaret, Do You Dream In French?, in The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series May 17 and 18.

Blame it on the weather. Tonight on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, when the Santa Ana winds blow into town, they cause everyone in West Covina to act a little strangely and question their relationships and priorities. Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) and Nathaniel (guest star Scott Michael Foster) get to know each other better while Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin) and Darryl (Pete Gardner) confront an ongoing dilemma in their friendship. The episode airs 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET on The CW.

The Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP), which fosters social reconciliation through American tap and contemporary percussive arts in world-class, innovative performance, education and outreach programs, hosted its 26th Jubalee Gala November 4 at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago, 220 E. Chicago Ave., Chicago. Attended by nearly 250 people, the event raised more than $140,000 from a combination of ticket sales, sponsorships, a paddle raise, a raffle and contributions.

This special evening, hosted by WGN's Dean Richards, took place July 30 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, 220 E. Chicago Ave., Chicago. Attended by 270 people, the event raised $212,000 from a combination of ticket sales, silent and live auction proceeds, table sponsorships and individual and corporate contributions.

Based on the title of the episode, I'm guessing CHASING LIFE will focus on the relationship (or lack thereof) between post-surgery Leo and in-remission April. The two of them have endure a lot of trauma in the last few months and I am excited to see how their friendship blossoms.
