The Actors Fund recognizes its 2016 Medal of Honor recipients at its annual gala, tonight, April 25, 2016 (6pm) at the Marriott Marquis.

The 5th Avenue Theatre is thrilled to welcome back to its stage after a 12-year absence Grammy-nominated Broadway, television and pop music star Cheyenne Jackson, who will headline the annual Night at The 5th Gala, 'The 5th Avenue Follies' on Friday, May 20, 2016.

Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning actress Anne Archer will return to the UK to star as 'Jane Fonda' in a brand new production of THE TRIAL OF JANE FONDA, written by seven-time Emmy award-winner Terry Jastrow, and directed by Joe Harmston, opening at Park Theatre on 13 July until 20 August, with a press night on 14 July.

According to People, the ROCKY and CREED star was recently seen in Atlanta, GA with a GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 script in hand before heading to the set. No word on who Stallone might be playing - though the report notes it could be the father of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt). Kurt Russell, who recently joined the cast, was also rumored for the role.

THE ACTORS FUND has just announced its 2016 Medal of Honor recipients, who will be recognized at the annual gala, April 25, 2016 (6pm) at the Marriott Marquis. Honorees include: actor and producer Michael Douglas, producer and singer/songwriter Emilio and Gloria Estefan, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, American prima ballerina Cynthia Gregory, and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw.

Marvel Studios has begun principal photography at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, on Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, which is slated to hit U.S. theaters on May 5, 2017. The production will shoot at Atlanta's Pinewood Studios.

I cannot remember when a play has touched me as strongly as the West Coast premiere of Barcelona by Bess Wohl, currently onstage at the Geffen through March 5. From the moment I entered the Gil Cates Theater and looked onstage at the attic apartment in Barcelona, with its dark, haunting, discombobulated appearance, I was thrillingly manipulated to examine it more fully... and I couldn't wait for the action of the play to begin. When it did, on the darkly lit set, two people (Carlos Leal, Betty Gilpin) entered the room fumbling to get each.
