Following the success of HBO's film BEHIND THE CANDELABRA, executive producer Jerry Weintraub began making moves to bring the legendary Liberace's story to the stage. According to the New York Post, a musical will likely be on the horizon. 

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, presents The Night of the Iguana, written by Tennessee Williams and directed by Michael Wilson.

One of America's premiere virtuoso pianists Philip Fortenberry, who has performed on Broadway and the Las Vegas Strip, will debut his first solo tour in Florida. Celebrating the musical genius of Liberace in his concert, "The Hands of Liberace," Fortenberry will share his insights as well as play some well-known and loved pieces.
