On a recent Monday night, in the middle of one of New York's swankiest hotels, an enthusiastic crowd of all ages sang along to songs by Elton John, the Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis, and of course, Billy Joel.

After the Broadway curtain comes down on December 11th, Movin' Out will head across the pond to the UK for a limited run beginning March 28, 2006.
The musical will play its final performance on Sunday, December 11, 2005 after 28 previews and 1,303 regular performances.

Earlier today banking's Washington Mutual and Broadway's hit musical Movin' Out jointly hosted a live audition for the Washington Mutual's Big Shot Talent Search Contest. The event took place outside the Richard Rogers Theatre on West 45th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue.
