The Public Theater announced complete casting today for TROILUS AND CRESSIDA, the second show of The Public's 2016 Free Shakespeare in the Park season. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, TROILUS AND CRESSIDA begins performances on Tuesday, July 19 and runs through Sunday, August 14, with an official press opening on Wednesday, August 3.

JEWISH PLAYS PROJECT and Artistic Director David Winitsky, are pleased to announce the exciting line-up of OPEN: The Festival of New Jewish Theatre. The festival officially opened Tuesday night with a special presentation of True Bible Studies by Robert Askins, directed by Benjamin Kamine as part of Into the Night: Downtown's Tikkun Leil Shavuot at The 14th Street Y. The line-up includes readings of new plays by Ben Gassman, Tom Block, M.J. Kaufman, Lenelle Moise, Lila Feinberg and the featured workshop production of G-d's Honest Truth by Renee Calarco, directed by David Winitsky. TheatreSquared will open Stephen Karam's bold, award-winning comedy Sons of the Prophet for a limited run in Northwest Arkansas in its first production since its critically acclaimed New York debut. Winner of multiple awards (including the 2012 Lucille Lortel and New York Drama Critics Circle awards for Best Play) and a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Sons of the Prophet is a contemporary comedy-drama that is 'soul-piercing' and 'explosively funny' (The New York Times).

Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today two family programs for the 2012 season: the 25th Anniversary Production of Free Theatre, The Valley of Fear adapted by Steve Lawson from the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the inaugural year of the Family Friday Workshops, which gives young people aged 8-14 an inside look at the Festival.

The LABA: House of Study at the 14th Street Y, (344 E. 14th St., NYC) will host its annual festival May 17-19, 2012. The Festival is centered around the theme of "Blueprint" and features contemporary art with a Jewish spin by the 2011-2012 LABA artist fellows.

50 of America's top young theatre artists will be travelling to London this May as part of The 2011 TS Eliot US/UK Exchange - a project run by the historic The Old Vic Theatre in London, currently under the artistic direction of Kevin Spacey.

Artistic Director Nicholas Martin has announced the casting for the next two productions of the Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2010 Season: Six Degrees of Separation by John Guare (The House of Blue Leaves, Landscape of the Body) playing the Main Stage July 14 - 25, and the world premiere of Samuel J. and K. by Mat Smart (The 13th of Paris, The Hopper Collection) on the Nikos Stage July 7 - 18.

Georgia Shakespeare continues its popular Family Classics Series with a world-premiere adaptation of Lewis Carroll's classic story Alice in Wonderland July 18 - August 1. Performances take place Tuesday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with additional shows on Tuesday July 21 and 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Conant Performing Arts Center (4484 Peachtree Rd. Atlanta, 30319 at Oglethorpe University).
