On March 13th, theatre, film and TV stars--as well as the legendary lady herself--came out for a benefit screening of Liza with a 'Z' at the Ziegfeld Theatre

The entertainment community came out to honor the life and career of the legendary actor Jerry Orbach.

The smash hit musical, MAMMA MIA!, which in 2004 surpassed a worldwide gross of $1 billion dollars since opening in London five years ago, broke another record this week at the Cadillac Winter Garden Theatre.

The New York Times fourth annual Arts & Leisure Weekend will be held January 7 - 9, 2005. This year's event will be the largest in the four-year history of the event with more than 1,300 cultural institutions participating throughout the United States and Europe. The weekend is the newspaper's annual signature event, a national and international celebration of art and culture.

Co-hosts for the evening will be Julie Andrews and Beverly Sills. Appearances and performances will be by Jane Alexander, Orson Bean, Polly Bergen, Steven Blier, Mario Cuomo, Michael Feinstein, Robert Goulet ,Denyce Graves, Rosemary Harris, Celeste Holm, Audra McDonald, Sylvia McNair, Anna Moffo, Rise Stevens and Kitty Carlisle Hart, plus many more surprise guests.
