The 17th annual The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America continues through August 25, 2013. The festival offers programming from 185 of the world's best emerging theatre troupes and dance companies in 20 venues in downtown Manhattan. With attendance topping 75,000 people, FringeNYC is New York City's fifth largest annual public event (just behind NY International Auto Show, Tribeca Film Fest, NYC Marathon, and Comic Con). JetBlue Airways (JBLU), New York's Hometown Airline, today announced a partnership with Air Ventures and Royal Waste Services to compost leftovers from select restaurants in Terminal 5 (T5) at John F. Kennedy International Airport. Air Ventures, the franchisee that owns and operates the Jamba Juice and Dunkin Donuts restaurants in T5 and Royal Waste Services have committed to work with the airline to separate and haul nearly 300 pounds of food waste each day for composting.
