Adam Rapp's new play THE METAL CHILDREN, about censorship in small-town American, begins performances June 20 at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street), it has been announced today by Vineyard Artistic Director Douglas Aibel.

Theater Resources Unlimited is pleased to announce the sixth annual TRU Love Benefit honoring producer and friend, Cheryl Wiesenfeld. On Sunday afternoon, November 11 from 1-4PM at the legendary Sardi's, Wiesenfeld will be given the TRU Spirit of Theater Award, which TRU gives each year to a person in the performing arts community who has demonstrated noteworthy generosity and helped nurture young producers.

Keir Dullea and Mia Dillon will star in a play-reading of the winning play in the 2007 Artsport New Works Playwriting Competition on Sunday, November 11 at 7PM, presented by Playhouse on the Green in Bridgeport. The two noted actors will read In the Middle of Nowhere by Kent R. Brown of Fairfield. Director is Kate Katcher of Newtown.
