RATINGS: NIGHTLINE Ranks Number One in Total Viewers for the Week of March 11

ABC News' “Nightline” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.307 million) during the week of March 11, 2019, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” led CBS' “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (1.239 million) by 68,000 and NBC's “Late Night with Seth Meyers” (1.232 million) by 75,000. In fact, “Nightline” posted its largest Total Viewer leads over both programs in 4 months – since w/o 11/12/18, based on weeks of original telecasts

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has finished #1 for the late-night ratings week of March 11-15 in the key adult 18-49 demographic versus “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

MAMMA MIA! ~ Arizona Broadway Theatre's zesty reprise of the ABBA-inspired musical that never flags in its ability to stir up a hearty round of opas. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats Add New Shows with Special Guest Lucius

Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are set to tour through the fall of 2019, with new dates featuring very special guest Lucius. The band and Lucius, who team up for the songs “Coolin' Out ” and “Babe I Know,” will make stops in Phoenix, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, Boise, Vancouver and more.

BWW Review: #JOBSITEROCKSTHEBARD with The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (Revised) at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL

After a 14 year hiatus the bad boys of Shakespeare took to the stage and command the stage they did. For the next 90ish minutes the audience was thrust into a world of side-splitting head over heels laughter. Jobsite's Artistic Director David Jenkins entered the space with a hilarious curtain speech. One of the most memorable moments was when he said, "We are in a small space, so if you're talking and thinking you can't be heard you can… and if anyone came with a child shut the little bastard up and let them fend for themselves." Introducing the facts that over the next hour and a half the audience will be thrust into a world unknown to some, a place of Elizabethan England; Stratford on Avon to be exact, and thus he went forth and introduced all of the players that would be seen that evening.

D. Lynn Meyers Receives Sachs Prize Fund

Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati's Producing Artistic Director D. Lynn Meyers is being honored by ArtsWave with the 2018 Rosa F. and Samuel B. Sachs Fund Prize for her regional arts impact and leadership. The Rosa F. and Samuel B. Sachs Fund Prize recognizes individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the cultural life of Cincinnati, bringing distinction to themselves and the region through their work.

ABC (5.113 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) and FOX (3.026 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) shared the demo crown on Thursday as the latter offered up the '2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards' (3.026 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5).

RATINGS: Fox Wins Demo with Return of EMPIRE

FOX (4.045 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) was the top demo draw on Wednesday thanks to the return of 'Empire' (4.412 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and 'Star' (3.678 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

They've dusted off their trunks full of everything from skulls to skirts and daggers to dinosaurs for a revival of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] running Mar. 15 - Apr. 7 in the Shimberg Playhouse at the Straz Center, where Jobsite is resident theater company. Having shrunk Willy's wit and wisdom into manageable morsels of madness, they tear around the stage in doublets and Converse on a riotous romp through all 37 of Shakespeare's plays plus the sonnets all in an hour and a half.
