This year, in honor of Meryl Streep's record setting 18th acting nomination, host Ellen DeGeneres attempted to set a new record by snapping the world's most retweeted selfie. To help in that effort, some of the world's biggest stars joined in, including Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jared Leto, and more.

Pharrell Williams performed his infectious hit 'Happy' from the film DESPICABLE ME 2 at the Oscars. The song is nominated in the Best Original Song category. Pay careful attention to 18-time-nominee Meryl Streep dancing with Pharrell from her front-row seat.

Urban Stages Founding Artistic Director Frances Hill and producer Peter Napolitano present the World Premiere of Character Man as part of its 30th Anniversary season. Jim Brochu's new musical memoir begins an Off-Broadway run at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street) tonight, February 28th, with opening night set for Wednesday March 5th. This limited run will continue through March 30th only. Robert Bartley directs, with musical direction by Carl Haan. Character Man will have scenic & video design by Patrick Brennan, lighting design by Meghan Santelli and sound design by Sean Hagerty.

Fitz and the Tantrums will be performing 'The Walker' on Good Morning America tomorrow, February 28 on ABC - the show starts at 7am.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced that tickets are publicly available for the 14th Annual Monte Cristo Award, honoring Meryl Streep.
