Original star of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, John Cameron Mitchell, is set to return to the role he co-created with Stephen Trask for eight weeks this January, opposite Tony Award winner Lena Hall, who continues with the production as Yitzhak. In a recent interview with the New York Times, Mitchell opened up about stepping back into Hedwig's heels. He told NYT: 'I've only just started to realize why I want to play Hedwig now, and it's not some stunt to sell tickets. It's to break up the rut that I'm in - the complacency.'
