Geva Theatre Center announces that it will be adding the Off-Broadway hit musical comedy, The Marvelous Wonderettes by Roger Bean, to its 2016-2017 Season line-up.  Directed by Melissa Rain Anderson, The Marvelous Wonderettes will run in the Fielding Stage from December 8 to December 24.

Geva Theatre Center welcomes Tony Award Nominee Hunter Foster in the role of King Arthur, and his wife, Rochester-born Jennifer Cody, as Arthur's sidekick Patsy in the opening production of the theatre's 43rd Season - the Tony Award-winning hit musical, Monty Python's Spamalot by Eric Idle and John Du Prez, in the Wilson Stage, tonight, September 9, through October 11.

Four productions still remain in Geva Theatre Center's 42nd Season: A Body of Water, Lee Blessing's play of memory and identity; The Mountaintop, a reimagining of Martin Luther King's last night on earth; the world premiere of Cass Morgan's journey to discover her roots - The Road to Where; and the season's grand finale, the laugh-out-loud comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. The 2014-2015 Season continued Geva's innovative efforts to connect patrons and artists and art with the community. The 2015-2016 Season will continue to build on that and also usher in a new era as Geva's historic home begins to undergo renovation and transformation.

A Christmas Carol, Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season. This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience.

54 BELOW announces the cast for their next big concert event '54 Sings Time and Again.' Playing for two performances only on May 11, the 7PM concert event will star Rebecca Luker (Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Nine), Howard McGillin (Phantom of the Opera, She Loves Me, The Secret Garden), and Jessica Molaskey (Parade, Dream, Sunday in the Park with George).

Besides being a delightful tribute to the renowned country singer, Always... Patsy Cline, is based on the true story of the friendship between Patsy and her most devoted fan, Louise Seger. It plays in the Severson Theatre in Santa Maria, tonight, August 8 through the 31st, then under the stars in Solvang, September 6 through the 15th. There will also be a one-night encore performance in the Chumash Casino Resort's Samala Showroom on Saturday, September 21.

For a third time, Rachael Logue, Chelsea Ryan McCurdy, Christina Stroup, and Holland Vavra are taking the stage as The Marvelous Wonderettes, and Houston audiences couldn't be more thrilled. Stages Repertory Theatre is currently producing the Regional Premiere of Roger Bean's frilly musical THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES: CAPS AND GOWNS, which takes audiences to 1958 for the quartets graduation and to 1968 for Missy's wedding. This sweet as cotton candy, fluffy theatre confection sells the audience with powerhouse performances and delights with nostalgic appeal.

PCPA Theaterfest's upcoming 2013 Summer Season - which runs from June 13 through September 29 - features an effervescent assortment of theatrical experiences including musicals, comedies and penetrating drama. With the Marian Theatre in the midst of renovations, the Severson Theatre will be the primary Santa Maria venue for two productions, while Solvang will host two transferring shows and two productions which will play exclusively in the outdoor Festival Theater.

Webster University¹s Conservatory of Theatre Arts presents ³Uncommon Women and Others² by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein. The production runs Feb. 20-24 and Feb. 27-March 3, in Stage III, Webster Hall, 470 E. Lockwood Ave. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. only on Sundays. A special post-show conversation will immediately follow the performance on Sunday, Feb. 24. Admission is $12 for the general public and $6 for senior adults and students. Nordstrom's may not be ready to get into the Christmas spirit before November 27, but Stages Repertory Theatre is reprising last year's wildly popular musical celebration of the season. Roger Bean's WINTER WONDERETTES is more a yuletide cabaret than a musical with plot. The barely-there story is about the Marvelous Wonderettes performing at Harper's Hardware Holiday Happening. Yet, the best gift of all is that Stages has reassembled their original Marvelous Wonderettes, giving these talented ladies a third opportunity to wow Houston audiences with every ounce of their charismatic star power.

Stages' favorite girl group returns in a seasonal sequel. The Wonderettes (original cast) are back in this all-new holiday musical, WINTER WONDERETTES, written and created by Roger Bean.
