AMC has announced that it will present a WALKING DEAD New Year's Eve Marathon, beginning with the series pilot episode, 'Days Gone By', and ending with Season 2's midseason finale. The marathon will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 31st and will conclude with a midnight airing of the Season 2 finale.

Season 2 of AMC's critically acclaimed original series, THE WALKING DEAD will be returning on February 12, 2012.

AMC has announced that it will renew it's series THE WALKING DEAD for a third season. The second season of the zombie drama premiered earlier this month, attracting record cable ratings for the network.
