Disney's THE LION KING set new box office records during the five-week return engagement, ending June 28, at the Community Center Theater in Sacramento, entertaining sold-out audiences of more than 88,000 people.

The tap-happy Tony® Award winning spectacle of 42nd Street marks Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) 42nd summer of free performances at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 42nd Street brings the grand-scale dance numbers of 1930s Broadway to Miller Outdoor Theatre (100 Concert Drive) every evening July 9 - 14, 2009 at 8:15 p.m.

The Rock Tenor makes its debut this summer beginning July 8, starring vocalist Rob Evan (Broadway performer and lead singer for the multi-platinum band The Trans-Siberian Orchestra), who conceived the show with director Vincent Marini (former Producing Artistic Director of New Jersey's Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center) officially opens July 15 and closes August 23. The Rock Tenor fuses rock and roll anthems, Broadway classics, opera favorites, country rhythms and classical melodies in a unique performance that showcases these familiar works in a whole new light. Set in 1959 in a seedy bar in Philadelphia, 'Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill' recreates one of Billie Holiday's final performances. Performances are April 24 - May 3, 2009 and take place at the MTC MainStage Studio Theatre in Westport, CT.

Neil Berg's widely acclaimed 100 Years of Broadway, a musical revue of Broadway's most celebrated shows, features a dazzling cast of five Broadway stars accompanied by an all-star New York band.
