Paradox Players to Stage ONE SLIGHT HITCH

Paradox Players presents the Austin premiere of comedian Lewis Black's hilarious 'One Slight Hitch.' It's the summer of 1981. The Colemans are preparing for their daughter Courtney's wedding at their conservative, upper-class suburban home. Her mom, Delia, is making sure that everything is perfect. The groom is perfect, the dress is perfect, and the decorations will be perfect. Then, like in any good farce the doorbell rings. And all hell breaks loose. So much for the perfect.

Chunky Move Reveals 2016 Next Move Recipients

For the first time since its inception, Chunky Move invited Australian dance makers to submit proposals for the ninth edition of Next Move, an initiative unique in scale in Australia that commissions new work, supporting and nurturing the next generation of leading dance makers. Chunky Move is delighted to announce the 2016 Next Move recipients: choreographer Melanie Lane, and choreographer Jo Lloyd in collaboration with performance maker Nicola Gunn. The recipients will premiere two new works this September 8-17 at Chunky Move Studios in Melbourne, in a double bill inspired by unique collaborations and a shared fascination for the histories embedded in each other's bodies.
