Single tickets for Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! are now on sale online at www.TheOldGlobe.org. The annual holiday musical, directed by James Vasquez with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin, will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, November 17 - December 29. Previews run from Nov. 17 - Nov. 23. Opening night is Nov. 23 at 7:00 p.m. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the show below.

This year, Children's Theatre Company (CTC) is bringing back the holiday classic Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas. This is the story about a mischievous and grumpy Grinch, played by CTC Company member Reed Sigmund, who hates Christmas so much that he has decided to steal it from his neighbors, the Christmas-loving Whos down in Whoville.

MSG Entertainment will present Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical for a limited engagement at The Theater at Madison Square Garden beginning Thursday, December 13 through Sunday, December 30, 2012. Celebrate the holidays with this heart-warming classic tale that will entertain the whole family as the show makes its triumphant return to New York City. The Old Globe will offer an autism-friendly performance of the holiday musical Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Following in the footsteps of successful autism-friendly performances of The Lion King and Mary Poppins on Broadway, The Grinch will be performed in a friendly and supportive environment for children on the autism spectrum and their families.

This weekend will be a homecoming of sorts for award-winning writer Laura Harrington, as she returns to the Nashville for the first time since 1996, in support of her new book Alice Bliss and a reunion with some of the city's best-known and best-loved theater artists who worked with her on the creation and production of The Perfect 36, an original musical staged by Mac Pirkle and Tennessee Repertory Theatre to celebrate the Volunteer State's Bicentennial.

The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities.
