On Friday, March 9, 2018 at 8:00PM, the New York Pops Celebrated The Best of Hollywood: Blockbuster Film Scores. The concert was conducted and music directed by Steven Reineke.

Broadway Workshop, the country's top training program for young performers, celebrates their tenth anniversary semester.  Laura Benanti is a Tony Award winner for "Gypsy" and star on Broadway in "She Loves Me!", as well as on TV's "Nashville" and frequent guest on "Late Night with Stephen Colbert" as Melania Trump. On Saturday, March 17 she will join the popular concert series Broadway @ the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, with Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host and presented by Mark Cortale.

On Sunday, March 11, 2018, this bonafide living legend will perform one night only for the acclaimed Broadway concert series at the Broward Center's Au-Rene Theater.

On Monday, February 19, the Theater People podcast welcomes Broadway favorite Adam Kantor back to the podcast. Kantor, currently co-starring as Telephone Guy in the critically acclaimed new musical THE BAND'S VISIT shares stories of how he won the role, working with the creative team on creating the role, and perfecting his character's haunting and beautiful song 'Answer Me.'

International theatre and TV star John Barrowman MBE returns to perform in London in Seth Rudetsky's Broadway @ Leicester Square Theatre concert series for 3 intimate performances produced by Mark Cortale, on April 13 & 14. John Barrowman is best know in the U.S. for his role of Malcolm Merlyn (aka The Dark Archer) in the hit TV series "Arrow" based on the Green Arrow comic books, and in the UK as Captain Jack Harkness, in "Dr Who" and "Torchwood." Seth Rudetsky most recently starred in London in a charity gala of his Broadway musical "Disaster!" in 2016 at Charing Cross Theatre. Broadway @ Leicester Square Theatre began in 2013 with Patti LuPone and returned with Audra McDonald and Will Swenson last year.

Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with his next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, February 19th at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM. Hosted by series Producing Artistic Director and Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, the popular series allows performers to showcase their versatility and share anecdotes about their experiences. Performers scheduled for February 19th are Stefanie Brown (Cruel Intentions), Billy Bustamante (Miss Saigon), Pomme Koch (The Band's Visit), Blaine Krauss (Kinky Boots), Amy Hillner Larsen (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I), Nick Sacks (Dear Evan Hansen), Travis J. Tony Award winning powerhouse Laura Benanti is scheduled to appear in her one-woman cabaret at the Straz Center in Tampa on February 11. Celebrated for her impression of Melania Trump on Stephen Colbert's Late Show, Miss Benanti played Louise in the 2008 Broadway revival of Gypsy, winning the Tony Award, and appeared in the stage musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown in 2010, winning the Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. She played Baroness Elsa Schrader in the 2013 NBC television production of The Sound of Music Live! and in 2015 began playing twin sisters Alura and Astra in the TV series Supergirl. Laura is also performing with her mother, talented actress and singer Linda Benanti, in a musical celebration of family titled, Laura and Linda Benanti: The Story Goes On.
