XYZ Films & Starburns Industries To Produce Will Vinton Doc WELCOME TO MY DAYDREAM

XYZ Films and Starburns Industries announces today that they will produce the biographical documentary WELCOME TO MY DAYDREAM, about the stop-motion animation pioneer Will Vinton. The film will be directed by Marq Evans, and produced by XYZ Films and Starburns Industries, with XYZ handling worldwide sales for the project.

East West Players Announces The Addition Of Five New Members To Its Board Of Directors

East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theater of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to the Board of Directors: Christine Chang, Alex Giza, Andrew Huynh, May Lee, and Nayan Shah. The new appointments hail from diverse backgrounds in law, media, education, e-commerce, and global management, and are avid supporters of the performing arts and Asian American theater. The size of EWP's Board of Directors has increased to 17 members from 12 members last year. 

Full Casting Announced For RAIN MAN Starring Mathew Horne And Ed Speleers

Full casting has been announced for Rain Man, the inaugural production of Bill Kenwright's Classic Screen to Stage Theatre Company. Joining the previously announced Gavin and Stacey's Mathew Horne (Raymond) and Downtown Abbey's Ed Speleers (Charlie) is: Mairi Barclay (Pippin), Hannah Barker, Elizabeth Carter (Dreamboats and Petticoats), Adam Lilley (The 39 Steps), Neil Roberts (Mamma Mia!) and Joe Sellman Leava (Monster).

BRIC Presents 'Alchemy,' An Exhibition Of Seven Artists' Work On Material Transformations

BRIC presents Alchemy, its major summer 2018 exhibition, featuring the work of seven artists reconceiving non-conventional materials in a reflection on the ancient concept of alchemy-the transformation of matter (June 28 - August 12). Employing diverse media, these artists create visually layered statements about the body, gender, race, and the environment. Their work, which includes large-scale installations and work commissioned by BRIC, also manifests the potential for the spiritual to be drawn out from the quotidian world around us.

Mathew Horne and Ed Speleers to Star in RAIN MAN By Dan Gordon

Bill Kenwright presents the inaugural Classic Screen to Stage Theatre Company production of RAIN MAN. Mathew Horne (Gavin & Stacey, The Catherine Tate Show) stars as Raymond Babbit opposite Ed Speleers (Downton Abbey, Wolf Hall) as Charlie Babbit. RAIN MAN opens at Windsor Theatre Royal on 21 August, before embarking on a UK tour to Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Eastbourne, Southend, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Brighton, Guildford, Leeds, Richmond, Derby and Northampton. Further dates and casting to be announced in due course.

ABC Sets Date For MRB's Back To Life Documentary About Olympic Prodigy Torin Yater-Wallace

ABC is set to premiere MRB Productions' new documentary Back To Life, narrated by Scandal star Tony Goldwyn, on January 13. The documentary, written and directed by Clayton Vila and produced by Emmy-winning producer Matthew Brady and MRB, chronicles Olympic freestyle skiing prodigy Torin Yater-Wallace's insurmountable climb from near death to rebounding in time to snatch the gold at the 2016 X Games in Oslo.
