I was absolutely blown away with just how much I loved this show...and it wasn't just because of the memorable one-liners that the audience all waited for with baited breath. In this comedic take on the 1980s horror franchise, characters and demons sing and dance to catchy songs written specifically for the musical. And, as in the films, Ash is there to dish out his various one-liners and fight the never-ending demons. This was seriously one of the best nights of theatre I've experienced in Austin.

Trustus Theatre Managing Director Larry Hembree hosts Larry's Bring Your Own Dinner Dinner Theatre, Wednesday, July 9 at 7 p.m. at Trustus, 520 Lady Street in the Congaree Vista. Act I will feature the hilarious talents of some "lovely ladies" that were "kicked off the Lawrence Welk Show", with special Guest Patti O'Furniture. Act II will fill the air with wonderful music as the Dick Goodwin Trio takes the stage with some of Trustus' most popular vocalists. Trustus celebrates its 30th Anniversary season beginning in September and all proceeds to offset operating costs at theatre. There are also other opportunities to donate to the theatre whether you attend the event or not.
