Nominees have been announced for The Curtain Up Show Album of the Year 2018. Once again, three categories (each with six nominees) are open to the public vote. Voting closes at 5.00pm GMT on Wednesday 9 January 2019, and winners will be announced live on Resonance FM at 4.00pm GMT on Friday 11 January 2018.

Auditions for Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt will be held at the Des Moines Community Playhouse at 6:30 PM on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), announced today that the network has acquired the eight-episode drama series 'Dublin Murders,' from Fremantle. The series is adapted from Tana French's first two novels in the Dublin Murder Squad crime series, In The Woods and The Likeness. 'Dublin Murders' is an atmospheric, psychological thriller brought to life by acclaimed series creator and writer Sarah Phelps (Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None, J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy).

Thursday night's opening of MAMMA MIA! at Nebraska Wesleyan's McDonald Theatre was a party in the Greek Isles. The extremely enthusiastic crowd of mostly college aged people vociferously approved this romp through ABBA's memorable music. Chest booming laughter, screams, and hoots resounded through the house. Raices Theatre Company, Western New York's premier Latinx theater production company, will host playwright Marco Antonio Rodriguez today, November 30th. Rodriguez will be attending the opening night of Raices' production of his play Barcelo on the Rocks. This marks the second time that Barcelo On The Rocks has received a fully staged production and the first time that the play has been produced in the English language. The play was first produced in 2014 by Repertorio Español and the original run was extended due to popular demand. Barcelo on the Rocks has been recognized as the winner of the MetLife Nuestras Voces playwriting competition and Rodriguez received an award for outstanding playwriting from the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) for the play.

Producer Mark Cortale will present historic six-time Tony Award Winner Audra McDonald with Sirius XM Radio star Seth Rudetsky as music director and host, on Sunday, Jan. 20th for Broadway @ The Herbst, direct from their critically acclaimed performance at Town Hall in New York City.
