Last Monday, October 27, the Midtown International Theater Festival presented the awards for its 15th anniversary season. Meshelle, 'The Indie-Mom of Comedy,' hosted this New York independent theatre tradition which celebrates the outstanding work of the festivals and productions found in the Midtown International Theatre Festival, Midwinter Madness Fest, Commercial Division, Children's Theatre Program, Cabaret Showcase, Staged Reading Series, and the Short Play Lab. 5000 Broadway Productions presents its newest production, Vestments of the Gods, as part of the 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. Vestments of the Gods is a musical play written by Owen Panettieri with music by David Carl and lyrics by Owen Panettieri. The show will run for five performances during the festival at FringeNYC Venue #7: Theatre 80 on St. Marks Place.

Today, 5000 Broadway Productions announced its newest production, Vestments of the Gods, as part of the 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. Vestments of the Gods is a musical play written by Owen Panettieri with music by David Carl and lyrics by Owen Panettieri. Kerry Lambert's choreography keeps the show moving as seven badly behaved mountain men kidnap wives from the local town and hold them for the winter.

After many sold-out concerts throughout NYC and London (including Birdland, Joe's Pub, and headlining the Songbook Series at Lincoln Center & St. James Theatre), award-winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin made his full-concert 54 Below debut with songs from his musicals: W2ML (under a Broadway option), Sunset City (Running Deer Theatre Lab 2013), The Concrete Jungle (workshop March 2014), Daybreak (London's Tristan Bates Theatre 2012), and 'Til Death Do Us Part (2012 Alec Baldwin Fellowship Winner) on last night, October 29. The Wagner College Theatre concludes its 2012-13 Main Stage season with its production of the timeless musical comedy, 'Guys and Dolls.' Based on two short stories by Damon Runyon, the action for this singing and dancing extravaganza takes place on the streets of Prohibition-era New York City. The show opens tonight, April 24 and runs through May 5.

The musical is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture starring Reese Witherspoon. The show runs tonight, Nov. 14-17, takes a break for Thanksgiving week, and has its concluding run Nov. 28 through Dec. 2.
