The hit run of HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, which opened to a great set of reviews at Paper Mill Playhouse, has already played its final performance in New Jersey, but is Broadway next? Most-likely. The show has been billed as 'Broadway-Bound' since day one, and the rave reviews from New York's critics make it a safe bet that we'll see it on the Great White Way, sooner rather than later. In fact, a recent report by the New York Post's Michael Riedel, he notes that producer Roy Gabay may have a tough time finding a Broadway house to transfer his hit musical HONEYMOON IN VEGAS to once it ends its run at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse. Says a theater owner, 'Nobody saw this one coming. We'd love to have it, but we have nothing available.'

Last night, November 14, Second Stage opened its much-anticipated production of Little Miss Sunshine. This new musical comedy is based on the film of the same name by Michael Arndt. It was adapted for the stage by Tony Award-winning team James Lapine, who wrote the book, and William Finn, who wrote the lyrics and music. Little Miss Sunshine's run has now been extended through Dec 15. BroadwayWorld was there for all of the opening night festivities and you can check out photos from the after party below!

Now, more than 50 years later, just in time for the late legend's 84th birthday, Joe's Pub and the Album of the Month Club expand the palette by adding jazz, cabaret, Broadway, folk music, and bluegrass into Brother Ray's classic mix. On Today, September 23 at 9:30 pm, Joe's Pub will present the first in a ongoing series of shows celebrating great pop and jazz albums, during which classic songs will be explored and re-examined by a rotating cast of singers and musicians in styles covering jazz, pop, Broadway, cabaret, and blues.
