Rehearsals begin today, Monday, December 12 for Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) new off-Broadway production of John Osborne's play Look Back in Anger, directed by Roundabout Associate Artist Sam Gold.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the full cast of a new production of John Osborne's play Look Back in Anger, directed by Roundabout Associate Artist Sam Gold. The cast will feature Adam Driver as 'Cliff,' Sarah Goldberg as 'Allison,' Anastasia Griffith as 'Helena,' and Matthew Rhys as 'Jimmy'.

Sarah Drew, Calista Flockhart, et al. Set for L.A. Theatre Works’ 'The Play’s The Thing' Series

Sarah Drew, Calista Flockhart, Stacy Keach, Amy Madigan, Jean Smart, Matthew Rhys, Joanne Whalley and JoBeth Williams are among the stars set to record 10 plays as part of L.A. Theatre Works' 2011-12 season. Beginning this September, L.A. Theatre Works' acclaimed 'The Play's The Thing' radio theater series moves to the James Bridges Theater on the campus of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. There, each performance will be recorded in front of a live audience for future radio broadcast.

Actors Orlando Bloom, Malcolm McDowell and Matthew Rhys, and director Kate Burton have been confirmed to participate in the LA Phil all-Tchaikovsky program led by Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, Thursday and Friday, March 10 and 11, at 8 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, at 2 p.m. The Sunday concert is the second LA Phil LIVE performance, and will be simulcast live in theaters across the country, at 2 p.m. Pacific/5 p.m. Eastern. The all-Tchaikovsky concert program features the composer's three Fantasy-Overtures inspired by Shakespeare plays - Hamlet, The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet. Preceding each of these powerful symphonic poems are selections from the Bard's immortal works performed by the cast of actors (Orlando Bloom as Romeo, Malcolm McDowell as Prospero, and Matthew Rhys as Hamlet). Kate Burton, the prolific Tony-nominated stage and screen actress and daughter of the late Richard Burton, directs this all-star cast and also serves as host for the LA Phil LIVE broadcast.
