The Pasadena Playhouse announced today that they will present the hit production of Gabrielle Pina's LETTERS FROM ZORA, in association with One Pearl and a Sphinx. The production, which returns by poplular demand, will play a limited engagement of eight performances and stars Vanessa Bell Calloway. LETTERS FROM ZORA is directed by Anita Dashiell-Sparks with original music composed by Ron McCurdy. Performances run today, May 10 - 18, 2014 with a press opening on Sunday, May 11 at 2:00 p.m.

-The Old Globe will host the 2014 Globe Gala on Saturday, July 26 in support of the theatre's education and artistic programs. According to Deadline, THE NEW NORMAL's Georgia King has signed on to join Matthew Perry and Thomas Lennon in CBS' THE ODD COUPLE reboot.

The project 'centers on two mismatched roommates - the messy Oscar Madison (Perry) and the neat freak Felix Unger *Lennin). Perry's GO ON co-star Sarah Baker will play Oscar's assistant Sam who spends most of her work day on the phone, apologizing to assorted high and [perrybaker] mighty people who have been offended by Oscar's latest rant.'

As previously announced, the network gave the project a pilot order this week, which Perry will star in, write, and executive produce. Danny Jacobson will co-write.
