As rumored since she took over briefly while Andrea Martin was on vacation, the producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN recently confirmed that four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will assume the role of 'Berthe' in the production beginning tonight, September 24th. Two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin played her final performance in the role on Sunday, September 22nd. Feldshuh previously played 'Berthe' during Martin's vacation. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45thStreet).

The producers of the 2013 Tony Award winning Best Revival of a Musical PIPPIN have announcedthat a new block of tickets have gone on sale and seats are now available for purchase through August 31, 2014. Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's PIPPIN is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and features choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). The producers of the Tony Award winning new Broadway production of PIPPIN have just announced that two-time Tony Award nominee Christopher Sieber (La Cage aux Folles, Shrek The Musical) will play the role of 'Charles' on Sunday, September 1 through Wednesday, September 4 and Sunday, September 15 through Wednesday, September 25 while three-time Tony Award nominee Terrence Mann is on vacation. Mr. Mann returns to the role full-time on Thursday, September 26. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

The legendary Betty Buckley went backstage last night at the Music Box Theatre to visit fellow actress Tovah Feldshuh, who's currently subbing for Andrea Martin as 'Berthe' in the Tony-winning revival of PIPPIN.
