Romantic Century's MAESTRO Begins Performances Tomorrow, January 3rd

Ensemble for the Romantic Century continues the 2018 - '19 season, ERC's 18th, with Maestro by Eve Wolf, beginning performances Thursday January 3rd. Opening Night is set for January 14th.  This limited Off-Broadway engagement runs through February 9th only. Performances will be at The Duke on 42nd Street (229 West 42nd Street, between 7th and 8th Avenues).

The 30th Toronto Fringe Festival Launches Itself Into The Next 30 Years With Record-Breaking Sales

The 2018 Toronto Fringe Festival boasts the highest ever ticket revenue, smashing the new records set during the 2017 festival. 66,301 tickets were issued to theatre-loving patrons over the 12-day festival. As Fringe returns 100% of net box office revenue, this means that $531,293.50 is going straight into the pockets of the artists. Ticket prices were raised this year from $10 + services fees to $11 + service fees, which contributed to the increase in revenue.

The Toronto Fringe hosts the largest pop-up patio in Toronto. Formerly known as the Fringe Club, POSTSCRIPT, brought to you by KOHO, is the reimagined and redesigned festival hub of the Toronto Fringe, located in the parking lot and hockey rink at the Scadding Court Community Centre (707 Dundas Street West). This is the second year at this location - the Fringe Club was previously located at Honest Ed's, up the road at Bathurst and Bloor.

One of the most important theatre festivals in the country, the TORONTO FRINGE FESTIVAL celebrates 30 years this summer. In honour of this major landmark for Canadian theatre, the Festival will feature a stellar line up of shows by many of Canada's hottest theatre artists, a throwback to some of the world's most important theatre productions with the #STARTEDATTHEFRINGE campaign, and a new creative pop-up patio called POSTSCRIPT in the Scadding Court hockey rink, where all events are free and open to the public. The TORONTO FRINGE takes place July 4 - July 15, 2018 with 159 shows at 43 venues presented across the city.
