The story from playwright David Grimm (Measure for Pleasure; The Miracle at Naples) follows a group of Scandinavian immigrants working to put on the world premiere of Ghosts, a new play by the revered and controversial Norwegian dramatist of the time, Henrik Ibsen. Ibsen in Chicago was commissioned and developed by Seattle Rep through the organization's 'The Other Season,' program, and will run February 2 - March 4, 2018 (opening night is Wednesday, February 7, 2018) in the Leo K. The Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University has announced its spring exhibitions–Jennifer Packer: Tenderheaded, Blueprint for Counter Education, and Praying for Time, selections from the Rose collection at the turn of the millennium–on view March 2 - July 8, 2018. Remaining on view will be Tony Lewis' site-specific mural Plunder, and Mark Dion's permanent installation The Undisciplined Collector (2015). A free public opening reception to celebrate the museum's spring exhibition season will be held 7–9pm on Thursday, March 1.

On Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 7:30pm, Bang on a Can and the Jewish Museum will present Bang on a Can: Performance by Arto Lindsay in conjunction with the Museum's exhibition Roberto Burle Marx: Brazilian Modernist. Lindsay's program, which will be announced from the stage, will include music that echoes themes of cultural experimentation and cross-pollination, drawing on elements from American and Brazilian rock, pop, experimental music, and improvisation.
