Williamstown Theatre Festival presents The Old Man and the Old Moon, running on the Nikos Stage from tonight, August 6, through August 17.

Williamstown Theatre Festival Producer Stephen M. Kaus announces the full cast and creative team for The Old Man and the Old Moon, which runs on the Nikos Stage from August 6 through August 17.

This summer, the critically acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co. returns to the East Coast for a final tour of their celebrated signature play with music, The Old Man and The Old Moon. The limited tour, which will originate at Williamstown Theatre Festival and will play engagements in New York City (New Victory Theatre), and Boston (Paramount Center Mainstage), will be the last chance to see the original company perform The Old Man and The Old Moon. Praised as 'an all-ages journey into the frontiers of undiluted imagination' by New York Magazine, The Old Man and The Old Moon was revised extensively during its twice-extended, sold out engagement at Writers Theatre in Chicago last fall.

Writers Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kate Lipuma announce the extension of the Midwest Premiere of The Old Man and The Old Moon, a new play with music by PigPen Theatre Co., directed by Associate Artistic Director Stuart Carden and PigPen Theatre Co., and presented by Writers Theatre and PigPen LLC. The critically acclaimed, record-breaking, cult-sensation PigPen Theatre Co. spread holiday cheer by lighting their very own "Un-Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree" and marked the occasion with a brief concert -- including their own original Christmas songs. PigPen Theatre Co.'s Off-Broadway play with music The Old Man and the Old Moon, hailed as "the best kept secret around that's not going to last for much longer" by The Huffington Post, has announced today that it will extend for the holiday season to January 6, 2013 at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street, NYC). Tickets for all performances can be purchased at www.sohoplayhouse.com. The Old Man and the Old Moon is a co-production of Britt Lafield/BKL Productions, SoHo Playhouse, Inc., Aaron Glick, Ronnie Planalp / Deborah Taylor and The PigPen Company.

The critically acclaimed troupe PigPen Theatre Co. has announced that they will be giving away free tickets to their new play, The Old Man and the Old Moon, to those displaced from their homes due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. As soon as power is restored to the production's venue, The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street at Washington Square South), the play will resume performances. At each performance, until all tri-state residents are able to safely return to their homes, twenty tickets will be given away to those displaced by the storm.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher began performances on March 28, 2012 and opened April 15, 2012, and is playing at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). The animated short features music from PigPen's first album, also called Bremen, the same music prominently featured in The Old Man and the Old Moon, which will play The Gym at Judson(243 Thompson Street at Washington Square South) beginning September 26th, with an official opening on October 7th.
