As BroadwayWorld has reported, producer Cameron Mackintosh will present a 25th Anniversary production of LES MISERABLES this fall. Together with the current production at the Queen's Theatre in the West End and a 25th Anniversary concert of the show in the works, this new production - which will play the Barbican Theatre - will mark the first time 3 renditions of the same show has run simultaneously in the UK. The 25th Anniversary production will tour the US beginning this fall.

'I'd Do Anything' contestant Samantha Barks has just confirmed via Twitter that she will be playing the role of 'Eponine' in the highly anticipated 25th Anniversary Concert of LES MISERABLES in the West end in October. She reveals in a tweet: Can now confirm that I will be playing Eponine at the 25th anniversary concert of Les Mis! I am beyond excited.' Barks placed third in the BBC reality talent show competition for 'Nancy' in the West End production of OLIVER in 2008.
Matt Lucas to Guest on GLEE Next Season

Looks like yet another famous name can now be added to the GLEE roster. According to published reports, Matt Lucas (Little Britain, Alice in Wonderland) will have a guest stint on the FOX hit, playing a frazzled British teacher with a closeted penchant for musicals.

In October this year, the legendary musical 'LES MISERABLES' will celebrate its 25th birthday by making theatrical history with an international first - three different productions in London at the same time. The Original Production at the Queen's Theatre, the New 25th Anniversary Production at the Barbican, London and now, stars in their multitudes will gather for a celebratory concert at The O2 on Sunday 3rd October at 7.00pm, when all three productions and many of the show's original cast will come together to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Little Britain Star Matt Lucas whose partner Kevin McGee committed suicide five months ago, has spoken out for the first time about the tragedy. McGee and Lucas had been together for six years, but things began to fall apart shortly after their marriage in 2006. The pair divorced 10 months ago. In a story in the News of The World, Lucas says, 'I've had three f****** terrible years in my personal life.'

Con O'Neill to Replace Matt Lucas in PRICK UP YOUR EARS, 10/22

Whatsonstage.com has confirmed that actor Con O'Neill will take over Matt Lucas' role of Kenneth Halliwell in the West End production of Simon Bent's Prick Up Your Ears at the Comedy Theatre on October 22. He will replace Matt Lucas, who left the production last week in the wake of the suicide of his ex-partner, Kevin McGee, as previously reported.
