Kinky Boots, now in its second successful year in London's West End, has won the London Lifestyle Award for Theatre Show of the Year. The awards celebrate the best of the 'lifestyle industry', with 20 awards, 15 being voted for by the public, going to talented individuals and enterprises that help make London such an amazing  city.

Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre has become a favourite with UK theatregoers, having won three Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, Best Costume Design and Best Actor in a Musical for Matt Henry who plays Lola. Kinky Boots also won the London Evening Standard BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical as well as three WhatsOnStage Awards for Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical, and Best Choreography.

Kinky Boots, now in its second year and the winner of every major Best Musical award, today announces the opening of a new booking period, with tickets now available until Saturday 6 May 2017. Tickets for this extended period will go on sale from Friday 9 September 2016, the day after the production celebrates its first birthday in the West End.

Matt Henry, who received the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical, is extending his acclaimed performance as Lola, and is joined by David Hunter, who takes on the role of Charlie Price.

According to The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, the Olivier winner has extended his contract with the production as Lola into 2017. In other 'KINKY' casting news, Elena Skye will succeed Olivier nominee Amy Lennox as Lauren, beginning 15 August.

Jon Robyns has had a sensational career in musical theatre over the last twelve years and has a CV that most performers could only dream of. He had had leading roles in productions such as Avenue Q, Les Miserables, Spamalot and Memphis to name but a few. Currently, he is playing Emmett Forrest in Curve's production of Legally Blonde in Leicester. Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced that the hit musical Kinky Boots celebrates its three-year anniversary on Broadway today, April 4, and is now that the longest running show to ever play the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), a record previously held by the original production of The Man of La Mancha.

The winners of the Olivier Awards 2016 with MasterCard, the most prestigious event in the UK theatrical calendar, were announced tonight (Sunday 3 April 2016) at the star-studded ceremony held at London's Royal Opera House.

Kinky Boots, Broadway's huge-hearted, high-heeled hit, today announces the release of the West End cast recording on Sony Masterworks. The album was recorded live with the current West End cast at the Adelphi Theatre and is available to buy from Friday 1 April 2016 and pre-order on Friday 11 March 2016.
