The Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre is proud to present the acclaimed actress Salome Jens in her award-winning solo show '...about Anne' featuring the poetry of the legendary Anne Sexton. Actress Salome Jens is an actor's actor. She considers acting a pure art form and is ever respectful of every single role she plays. From films like Angel Baby to Mae Olinski in TV's Mary Hartman Mary Hartman to her one-woman play About Anne, her work is passionate, thoughtful and evocative. She will be performing About Anne @ Group rep in NoHo November 19 and 20 as a benefit for the theatre. In our chat recently conducted on the stage of Group rep, she talks about the roots of About Anne (poet Anne Sexton, who struggled her entire short life with mental illness and committed suicide) and other theatrical passions.

Mary Hart, the host of Entertainment Tonight, announced today that her final year on the show will be ET's upcoming 30th season, which launches September 13, 2010. Hart joined ET in 1982 and was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 1999 recognizing her contributions to television.
ET has released new footage of Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie's all-star recording of We Are the World to benefit Haitian earthquake victims. The pair assembled 100 actors and musicians for the re-recording, which ET's Mary Hart, who was grated access to the recording, calls 'phenomenal again.'
