The producers of CHITA RIVERA: THE DANCER'S LIFE have announced 'LIVE 'THE DANCER'S LIFE' WEEKEND.'

Chita Rivera celebrated her birthday, and the arrival of Dick Van Dyke in The Dancer's Life with a special private party at Tony's DiNapoli Time Square and BroadwayWorld was there to cover the celebrations.

A press preview was held on Tuesday afternoon, January 24th to welcome Dick Van Dyke to Chita Rivera: THE DANCER'S LIFE for four performances only.

The Dirty Rotten Producers are proud to announce that the National Touring Company of the Broadway smash hit will premiere Sunday, August 6th, 2006 at Seattle's Paramount Theatre. The Seattle run will continue through August 12th, followed by engagements across the country (to-be-announced).

John Lithgow played his last performance on January 15 in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and BroadwayWorld was there to cover the fun. Next up? Jonathan Pryce.

Chita Rivera will reunite with her legendary Bye, Bye Birdie co-star when Dick Van Dyke makes a special guest appearance in CHITA RIVERA: THE DANCER'S LIFE, it was announced by the show's producers. Mr. Van Dyke will appear in the musical for four performances: Tuesday, January 24 - Thursday, January 26, 2006.
