Leftfield Productions and Adam Friedson In Association with David Kramer Productions Presents Broadway Stars Tony Vincent, Capathia Jenkins, Ron Bohmer, and Lawrence Clayton Join Forces With Rock Stars Sophia Ramos, Michael Lanning and Elaine Caswell In A Special Concert Presentation of THE TWELVE

British playwright Joe Orton's classic dark comedy ENTERTAINING MR. SLOANE, hits Los Angeles this June for a four week run at the Actors Company theater. The play, which originally debuted in London in 1964, tells a sexy, suspenseful, and often humorous story that continues to captivate and surprise audiences today. Director Stan Zimmerman leads an ensemble cast which includes: Ian Buchanan (The Bold and the Beautiful), Olivia d'Abo (THE WONDER YEARS), Emrhys Cooper (We Will Rock You) and Robin Gammell (NIP/TUCK).

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced today the eight musicals selected to be part of the 23rd Annual Festival of New Musicals on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

Paper Mill Playhouse has just announced the full creative team behind its season opener, the premiere of a new Disney stage musical, Newsies. Featuring music by eight-time Academy Award®-winning composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Sister Act, The Little Mermaid), lyrics by Jack Feldman and a new book by four-time Tony® Award winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage aux Folles, Torch Song Trilogy), Newsies is adapted for the stage from the 1992 live-action Disney feature film musical. The show begins performances on Thursday, September 15. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, September 25.

Barrington Stage Company's Musical Theatre Lab, under the leadership of Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist William Finn, Musical Theatre Lab Artistic Producer, Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, presents the world premiere of Mormons, Mothers and Monsters, a quirky new musical with book and lyrics by Sam Salmond and music by Will Aronson.

Rider's Westminster College of the Arts, which includes the renowned Westminster Choir College in Princeton, is placing Musical Theater at the forefront of strategic investment in the arts at its Lawrenceville campus. We just received a statement from Chita Rivera on his passing which reads that'A huge part of me has left...gone to light the heavens for us as he did on earth. I carry Tony with me. I always have and always will. My god how I will miss him.'

Three-time Tony Award-winning actress Glenn Close will return to television for season four of the Emmy Award-winning, critically acclaimed legal thriller, DAMAGES, on Wednesday, July 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on the Audience Network.
