Tribeca Film Institute and Charitybuzz are bringing screen legends Robert De Niro and Al Pacino back together for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The highest bidder and their lucky guest will join the actors for a private lunch, courtesy of De Niro in New York City. The proceeds will benefit the Tribeca Film Institute, which provides funding and resources to diverse groups of exceptional filmmakers and media artists, empowering these storytellers to be catalysts for change in their communities and around the world. The auction will launch on Thursday, March 22 at 9 AM EST, and the bidding will close on Thursday, April 5 at 3 PM EST.

Chudomir (Playwright) Chudomir (author of Uncle Tako, the Bell-hop, Feasible, Letter from the Province, and My Poor Uncle), born Dimitar Hristov Chorbadjiiski, was a Bulgarian writer-humorist, historian, and painter, born in 1890 in the village of Turia. His main focus were the mannerisms and traditions that sprung from the Bulgarian village. The authenticity with which Chudomir painted his characters paved the way for a comedic sensibility that is truly Bulgarian. Chudomir's short stories date as early as 1907, and he continued to be active until his death in 1967. To this day, he is celebrated for his ability to expose the masked reality of life during communist time and satirize it subtly and masterfully.

The Centerpiece Gala will be the World Premiere of Drake Doremus' sci-fi romance Zoe starring Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, and Theo James. The 2018 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 18-29.

CBS All Access Announces Casting for Upcoming Mystery Series '$1', Including Stage Vets Leslie Odum Jr. & Gracie Lawrence

CBS All Access announced today cast members joining its upcoming original series $1, a mystery set in a small rust belt town in post-recession America, where a one-dollar bill changing hands connects a group of characters involved in a shocking multiple murder. The cast includes John Carroll Lynch, Nathaniel Martello-White, Philip Ettinger, Chris Denham, Kirrilee Berger and Gracie Lawrence with Leslie Odom Jr., Jeff Perry and Sturgill Simpson set to recur.
