Two River Theater, under the leadership of Artistic Director John Dias and Managing Director Michael Hurst, announces the lineup of productions for its 2015/16 Season. Portland Ovations has announced that they have hired Catherine M. Anderson as their Director of Ovations Offstage, the education and community outreach arm of the 84 year-old performing arts organization. Anderson has been a language arts and humanities teacher at King Middle School for the past fifteen years and is thrilled about her new role and joining Portland Ovations. 'I could not have designed a more perfect fit for the marriage of my dedication to education with my passion for the arts than in this position which is devoted to co-creating authentic, relevant opportunities to grow and sustain cultural curiosity in learners of all ages,' states Anderson.

The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center revealed the 2015-16 Bemis Company Education Series last night to a group of educators from the Fox Cities and Northeast Wisconsin. The show will position Picasso's curtain in a dialogue with other New-York Historical Society objects, including paintings from the European tradition that provide background to the artist's work as well as to the traditions against which the revolutionary artist rebelled. Other thematic threads pivot around dance subjects and explore roughly contemporary American paintings, sculpture, posters, and watercolors. Among the works included will be examples by William Adolphe Bouguereau, Will H. Bradley, Philippe de Champaigne, Jean-Léon Gérôme, Childe Hassam, Malvina Hoffman, Ricardo de Madrazo y Garreta, Elie Nadelman, Edward Penfield, Maurice Prendergast, John Sloan, and Adriaen van Utrecht.

That single statement, made by President Lyndon Johnson, sums up the theme of ALL THE WAY; a new play by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, now playing at ZACH Theatre. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, ALL THE WAY examines the period between Kennedy's assassination and Johnson's landslide reelection on November 3, 1964. ALL THE WAY is the first of two plays by Schenkkan on Johnson's presidency. The second part, THE GREAT SOCIETY, continues the Johnson story from 1964 to 1968.
