He responded that he wasn't, but came to Cleveland at least twice a year to hear the orchestra and always attended their performances in the Big Apple.

Peggy Wallace Kennedy, daughter of former Alabama governor and segregationist George Wallace, is the keynote speaker for the McLean Community Center's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration. Kennedy will give a talk, "A Walk to Redemption," on the life experiences that lead her to become a civil rights advocate. The celebration will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, in The Alden Theatre, 1234 Ingleside Avenue.
