Opening Doors Theatre revival of Drat! The Cat! welcomes Edward Juvier* (Broadway: Les Miserables; Off-Broadway: Smoking Bloomberg) to the cast.

New York City Theater Subdistrict Council (TSC), City Planning Commissioner Amanda M. Burden and Cultural Affairs Commissioner Kate D. Levin announced Roundabout Theatre Company (Artistic Director, Todd Haimes) is among 15 organizations to receive grants totaling $2.1 million for a range of projects that will encourage audience development and foster the creation of new work.

The Wilma Theater concludes its 2009 - 2010 Season with the U.S. Premiere of Leaving, by Václav Havel. The first play in 20 years from playwright and former Czech President Havel, Leaving will receive its U.S. Premiere production under co-Artistic Director Jiri Zizka's direction, with Academy Award® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck) starring in the role of ex-Chancellor Dr. Vil?m Rieger.

Inspired by the U.S. Premiere of Leaving, by Václav Havel, The Wilma Theater will conduct two symposium sessions exploring Havel's legacy and the historical and dramatic background of Leaving, his first new play in over 20 years.

Musicals Tonight! will end its run of Kander & Ebb's The Rink at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre on March 21st.

Beginning March 7th, Musicals Tonight! will be presenting Kander & Ebb's The Rink at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre. With direction by Thomas Sabella-Mills, the run lasts through March 21st with performances on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7:30PM, Wednesdays and Fridays at 2PM and 7:30PM, and Sundays at 3PM.

His manager plans a farewell party at which the star is to kiss one lucky fan good bye on ?The Ed Sullivan Show? before he departs to serve his country. Rehearsals will be held Saturdays starting September 19th, running thru November 7 from 10am-2pm. Performances, at the KD Studio Theatre, will be November 13, 14 and 15, 2009.
