Asolo Repertory Theatre presents Katie Forgette's INCIDENT AT OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP as the fourth and final play in its 2023 repertory season.

On the heels of Our Town, Asolo Repertory Theatre proudly opens the next show in its 2022 rep season, GRAND HORIZONS. This hit Broadway comedy by playwright Bess Wohl is directed by Asolo Rep Associate Artistic Director Celine Rosenthal. 

Previously at Straz' Jaeb and Shimberg theatre, and part of the Tampa Bay Theatre Festival, playing November 22 through 24 at Stage West Playhouse in Hernando, combining heart and humor, the original musical American Heartbeat tells the poignant story of a Marine facing PTSD and an undocumented immigrant competing for the same job.

Throughout the month local playwrights and poets will showcase their original female-centric works. The lineup consists of: • 'SheVolution III' - March 7 and 8, 8pm • 'Twirling in the Woods - Nature Poem and Stories' - March 9, 8 pm • 'The Lady from Havana' - Mar 10, 8pm • 'It's About Time' - March 15, and 21, 3pm • 'C'est La Vie' - March 16, 2pm and 7pm • 'NINE' - March 17, 3pm • 'Shattering the Silence' - March 22, 8pm • 'The ThinkFast Experiment' - March 24, 6pm

American Heartbeat, a Musical Play by Martha Velez, PhD has been dubbed by the press as 'Masterful Theatre' and it now makes it's way back to The Straz Cener for the Performing Arts, August 5, 6, & 7, 2016 for another run.
