The MAC's Lakeside Pavilion swings into "back to school" mode when it hosts three highly entertaining concerts celebrating College of DuPage's 50th Anniversary Year. "It's not every year you hit the big 'five oh' so the MAC is proud to help the College share the excitement of this achievement with three must-see concerts to be enjoyed by alumni and the general public too," observed MAC director Diana Martinez.

The West End production of Motown the Musical has proven its popularity in London.

Last night (8 March 2016) marked the opening of the West End production of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL. With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, MOTOWN THE MUSICAL is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright. Last month, due to public demand, a further 200,000 tickets were released for sale taking bookings at the Shaftesbury Theatre to 18 February 2017. ? Direct from London's West End, DANCING IN THE STREETS, the original hit stage production celebrating Motown's Greatest Hits, makes its North American debut with a nation-wide tour scheduled to stop at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Conn. for one night only on Saturday, April 2 at 8 p.m.

Today, we introduce you to four cast members from In The Heights - Lipscomb University's Bekah Purifoy, Belmont University's Chris D. Lee and Arik Vega, and one of the newest members of the Nashville theater community, Ashley Wolfe. Purifoy is a 2015 First Night Most Promising Actor, while Lee and Vega are members of the 2016 Class. Wolfe electrified the audience with her performance at Midwinter's First Night in January.

Motown the Musical rocked into Overture Center in Madison on Tuesday night with an abundance of talent and energy delivering the memorable Hitsville, USA classics. This Berry Gordy biopic covers his life as a young boy striving for more, to a man borrowing money from his family to build a recording empire that changed history. The production culminates with the twenty-fifth anniversary celebration of Motown.
