The completely original new musical Something Rotten!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award and Tony Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Tony Award nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, opens at the Fabulous Fox Theatre February 7 and plays until February 19.

Marquette University has acquired one of only 1,500 first edition, first printing copies of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, published in 1937, to add to its J.R.R. Tolkien Collection.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Chicago announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Monday, December 5.  The hit Broadway musical will launch its North American tour in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre with performances beginning on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

Three of the current Broadway principals will be reprising their roles on tour: Rob McClure as Nick Bottom, Adam Pascal as Shakespeare and Josh Grisetti as Nigel Bottom.
