‘THAT'S AMORE', a hit-filled celebration based on Dean Martin's hugely successful TV specials of the 1960s, is coming to Jacksonville on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 7:30pm at the Times Union Center's Moran Theater.

The New School for Drama presents The New Visions Drama Directing Festival, a new series featuring seven contemporary plays performed in repertory November 30 through December 12 at the New School for Drama Theater. This festival highlights the work of the graduating MFA directing and acting students in the program, and is free and open to the public.

Variety reports that Warren Beatty has been named the recipient of the The Art Directors Guild's Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery Award. Not undeserving of the nod, only Beatty and Orson Welles have received Academy Award nominations as an actor, director, writer and producer on the same film, an achievement Beatty did with Heaven Can Wait and Reds. SEATTLE CELEBRATES BERNSTEIN, a Seattle based festival to celebrate the life and works of acclaimed composer Leonard Bernstein, has announced their full schedule for the 2010 season. The festival will be held April, 2010 through June, 2010 and will include performances of On the Town and Candide at the 5th Avenue Theatre. In addition, lyricist/director Martin Charnin will host a talk entitled 'WEST SIDE STORY Stories - Memories of Lenny,' where he will discuss his memories of the famed composer.
