The March Family is coming to Laguna this April! The beloved classic, LITTLE WOMEN: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, will be presented live on-stage as part of the Laguna Playhouse Youth Theatre, beginning Friday, April 5 through Sunday April 14 at the Laguna Playhouse Moulton Theatre, 606 Laguna Canyon Drive in Laguna Beach. LITTLE WOMEN: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy will be directed by Kelly Herman.

The Company Members of Labyrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, downtown ensemble, have announced today casting for its upcoming NEWYORKNEWYORK Festival Marathon Weekend, which will feature forty-eight hours of free, round-the-clock readings of plays centered around New York themes - iconic playwrights, vibrant cultures, urban ideals, and more. Over 180 actors will participate in the marathon weekend of free play readings including: Max Casella, Sarita Chowdhury, Liza Colon-Zayas, Kieran Culkin, Tony Danza, John Doman, Tate Donovan, Halley Feiffer, Michael Kelly, Elizabeth Kemp, Josh Hamilton, Sarah Nina Hayon, Florencia Lozano, Julia Murney, Tony Plana, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Julia Stiles, Marlo Thomas, and Yul Vazquez. The marathon will feature classic works by over twenty esteemed New York playwrights, including Maria Irene Fornes, Lorraine Hansberry, David Henry Hwang, Kenneth Lonnergan, Arthur Miller, Clifford Odets, Miguel Pinero, and more.

Growing Up Laughing author, actress and activist MARLO THOMAS and George Street Playhouse Artistic Director DAVID SAINT invite patrons to a special event - "Laughing with Marlo" -- Saturday, April 6 at 5:30. Tickets to the event are priced at $100 and $60; $60 buys admission to the event; a limited number of $100 VIP tickets include premium seating in the theatre and an exclusive, private reception with Ms. Thomas following the event. In addition to her chat with Mr. Saint, Ms. Thomas will also take questions from the audience.

Laguna Playhouse 'Theatre For A New Generation' series is honored to present I NEVER SAW ANOTHER BUTTERFLY, written by Celeste Raspanti and directed by Donna Inglima for five performances only beginning tonight, February 14 through Saturday, February 16 at the Laguna Playhouse, Moulton Theatre, 606 Laguna Canyon Rd. in Laguna Beach.

Tonight at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, AOL, PBS and Simple facial skincare will host a red-carpet premiere for 'MAKERS: Women Who Make America,' the PBS documentary film which serves as the broadcast extension to MAKERS, a first-of-its-kind multiplatform video initiative that aims to become the largest collection of women's stories ever assembled. The event will bring together more than 56 notable MAKERS women, including Katie Couric, Gloria Steinem and Martha Stewart, as well as VIPs Allison Williams, Kelly Rutherford and Kyra Sedgwick, AOL CEO Tim Armstrong, PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger, WETA President and CEO Sharon Percy Rockefeller and Unilever North America EVP of Personal Care, Gina Boswell who will gather to celebrate over a half century of women's achievements. Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of Hay Fever by Noel Coward at the Sara Belle and Neil November Theatre on Friday, February 15, 2013 with a preview on February 14. Part of the Acts of Faith Theatre Festival, the show will run through March 3 with a talk back on Sunday, February 24 following the 2:00 p.m. matinee. This witty comedy of manners set in the 1920's English countryside portrays the outlandish lifestyle of four bohemians as they host unsuspecting guests for a weekend in the country.

George Street Playhouse Artistic Director David Saint announced today that the theatre has postponed their scheduled production of Clever Little Lies, penned by Tony Award-winning playwright Joe DiPietro, which was to star award-winning actress Marlo Thomas. Mark St. Germain's critically-acclaimed play The Best of Enemies, originally produced by Barrington Stage Company, will take its place in the New Brunswick theatre's season, running November 29 - December 23.

For its anniversary issue, the Ms. cover shows Wonder Woman on the streets of Washington, DC with women marching to stop the attacks on their rights and carrying signs bearing the slogan: "Vote as if your life depends on it".
