The Arts at Millersville's Fifth Season, along with the inaugural new Popular Music Series of Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO), will kick off with a performance for classical and popular music lovers alike, Hollywood Heroes and Villains. This family-friendly, full orchestra performance is a tribute to Hollywood's greatest composers with new and old music favorites from The Hobbit, The Wizard of Oz, Frozen, Star Wars, and Batman. Kids are encouraged to come in costume as their favorite hero or villain and participate in a fun, indoor parade at the start of the show. Plus, feel like a star when you step into a Hollywood-themed photo booth by PhotOle Photography to capture the fun of the evening.

In The Box House, author Brigid Marlin tells the story of a young girl she met in a small English town in the 1960s. Although badly neglected and abused by her mother, eight-year-old 'Cassie' is a strong and courageous child who is determined to make a proper home for her younger siblings. The box house referenced in the title is literally that - a house made of cardboard boxes. It's a place where Cassie and her siblings find comfort and refuge from their real lives, if only for a few hours at a time. As described by one reviewer:

Produced by the Squeaky Wheel Theatre Project and hosted by Master Class Academy, this first of its kind cabaret experience will feature three different cabaret acts, in three unique rooms, each chronicling the highs and lows of different stages of being in (or out of) love.
